SERIES

 

Saurobotics is currently planned as three seasons, and the first of these would work to establish the characters and the world they inhabit. With only five Evolution Keys to find, the mission to gather them shall likely not dominate the season (providing the episode count is substantial enough), and episodes can be used to explore other areas of the show. Of course, every episode should include focus and occasional development on our main characters, with their gradual progression being an underlying point of the entire series. It is important to keep the show from being too moralistic, and to maintain a clear balance between the light-hearted fun and the more dramatic moments. The series can also be used to teach the audience about dinosaurs and their contemporaries, with Byte imparting knowledge to the others. It should endeavour to be accurate and informative, showing the wonder of prehistoric life as we now understand it, without dominating the story, humour and action.

 

Episode 1 should introduce Luke, Charlie and Henry, with them encountering Byte and being drawn into the adventure. Select episodes can then see missions to find the various Keys. Amadeus will play the main antagonistic role, while Leanne and Damon can appear when needed as additional/alternative, less-competent opponents. The rest of the Mantell Institute can appear on occasion, primarily in mysterious scenes teasing Byte's origins. The family members and classmates should appear as necessary to add to episodes - the classmates should learn of Byte's existence early on, while the family members can learn of him when needed. Ruiko's introduction should come around half-way through the season. Come the finale, the action shall lead back to the Mantell Institute, and our heroes shall learn the truth about Byte's origins while coming to climactic blows with Amadeus

 

Seasons 2 and 3 shall take the series further, introducing new antagonists, further Evolution Keys and heavier dramatic beats for our developing heroes. The existing plans for these seasons shall not be detailed here.
